Hanger Athletic Exchange

When Moye Stephens convinced Jack Northrop and his partners of a new location for his new entrepreneur effort called Northrop Aircraft. His vision was a manufacturing plant with a series of Hanger containing Northrop airplanes in Hawthorne California. Well Moye Stephens location vision eventually became a reality and Hawthorne California became home of Northrop Corporation for many years.

In 2007, Hawthorne California has changed a little bit. Gone, the Northrop Company which is now called Northrop Grumman Company is no longer headquartered in Hawthorne California but the H angers of Moye Stephen vision has been repurposed into an exciting new venture. A new athletic health facility called the Hanger Athletic Exchange (HAX) has been created on the site.

The HAX concept is a sea of basketball courts, surrounded by state of the art cardio and weight rooms and renowned health food café. A sea of basketball courts; HAX has six basketball courts purchased from the 2008 NCAA regional basketball tournament. This dedication to basketball excellence has been notice by NBA athletes and Local tournament organizers.

The Say No Classic tournament which has been working with NCAA athletes in summers for 38 years has decided to use the facility for its 2008 SayNo Classic summer league tournament.

Congratulations to the HAX staff for producing a superior basketball environment that can be shared and utilized by the local basketball community.
